Atlantic City Casinos Going Online

NJ GamblingAtlantic City Casinos Going Online

New Jersey representatives are currently looking over bills to consider Atlantic City casinos going online.  In comparison, the New Jersey State lottery and Tri-State lottery have produced millions of dollars over the past decade and that money has gone to social and infrastructure improvements.  The taxes collected from this venture would go to the same type of budgeting, but would also include programs for problem gamblers in the State.

With the recent reversal of the Department of Justice’s stance on the matter of online gambling, several other states besides New Jersey are also looking to take their casino operations online.   Along with New Jersey; Nevada, California, Texas and Iowa are all performing studies on how online gambling and online poker will affect their constituency.

New Jersey State Senator, Lesniak has expedited online gambling bills in the past but have had them rejected by the governor on grounds of the former DOJ’s view about such enterprises.  With the reversal, those bills are now expected to go under consideration shortly.

In Australia online casinos have not yet been legalized, but  OnlineCasinos.Me is a good exsample of what kind of games Australia would offer if legalized.
